Programme Content
Each class will be delivered live via Zoom. A link will be sent to your email prior to each class.
- Settling in – Understanding the importance of getting an organised approach set up early on that works throughout the 2 years.
- WHERE-WHEN – WHAT – HOW of study General aspects of the study to be considered and what is realistic for you.
- Setting initial goals – Your only getting familiar with your subjects but it is good to have a goal for class exams – to familiarise yourself with the points system
- Level Choice – Ensure that you are happy with your subject choice as you can change within reason – and think of the impact of levels.
- More detail on the HOW of study – Let’s look and discuss strategies both common and individual
- Goals for Christmas Test – now is the time to set some real goals – but there are a few things that have to be considered.
- Getting focused – The Christmas exams are important – for a number of reasons – which we will discuss.
- Cast the net wide – We will discuss where to start when investigating career options and courses.
- Dip your toes in – We discuss strategies for further investigating courses that are very very effective.
