Personal Information – What does it consist of?

Personal Information consists of the following items: Name, Surname, E-mail address, Postal Address, Status in terms of “student” or “parent/guardian of student”, Phone number (Mobile number and/or landline number).

Personal Information – How do we collect it?

We only obtain Personal Information directly from our client’s themselves, for example, when the contact form is completed on our web-site located at www.careerclub.ie. Similarly, we collect Personal Information when a client contacts us by phone, text or letter in order to request information on our service.

The Personal Information will be accurate and complete insofar as it has notified by the individual client. The Personal Information will be updated as notified by the individual client where necessary.

All methods of acquiring Personal Information from individual clients have the sole intended purpose of providing a channel by which the subscribed service can be delivered to the client by The Career Club.

How do we use Personal Information?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

• Communicate with you;
• Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud

Personal Information is collected, processed and stored by The Career Club solely in keeping with the purposes for which it was obtained.

The Career Club will only process Person Information where there is a valid, lawful reason for doing so, for example, where we are delivering the subscribed service to a client, issuing invoices for payment of such subscribed services, or providing updates on current information pertaining to the subscribed service.

Personal Information will not be used, disclosed or processed in any manner other than the purposes for which it was obtained.

How we Disclose Personal Information?

The Career Club will not disclose Personal Information to any outside third parties unless such third parties are acting under our specific instructions (e.g. Agents, Contractors, Servant, etc.)

Additionally, disclosure of Personal Information by The Career Club may occur if so directed under order from a lawful authority in The Republic of Ireland.

In no circumstances will Personal Information be released by The Career Club to third parties for any such third parties own or proprietary purposes or use.

Will we share your Personal Information?

We will only share your personal Information with a third party or body where disclosure is required and authorised by law.

How long will store your Personal Information?

We will only store your Personal Information for as long as we need it in order to provide our services, or the period required by law (which ever is the greater).

Details of invoices raised in respect of our service will be retained for a period of six years from the date of issue.

Secure storage of your Personal Information?

The Career Club is committed to storing your Personal Information in a safe and secure manner in order to ensure the no unauthorised access to such information occurs.

The SCareer Club cannot accept responsibility for any unauthorised access or loss of Personal Information which occurs due to circumstance outside of our control, for example, a Force Majure event. E-mail communications over the internet cannot be guaranteed to be secure unless an encryption algorithm is deployed.

The Career Club utilises appropriate Firewall and Anti-Virus software in order to protect your Personal information and electronic communications between the parties.

The Career Club will never request personal or account information via an unsolicited method of communication.

Although Career Club website may provide links to third-party websites, we are not responsible for the security and content of any such third-party websites.

Additionally, you may opt to disclose elements of your Personal Information by means of social plug-ins, for example, Facebook. Such plug-ins are operated by the relevant social network themselves and are subject to their proprietary terms of use, privacy and cookie policies.

Personal Information – Your Rights?

You have the right to a copy of the Personal Information we retain in respect of you. Additionally, you have a right to update or correct the Personal Information held by us about you if this needs to be updates or is inaccurate, Finally, you have the right to request us to erase your Personal Information where retention is no longer necessary, where you have withdrawn you consent or where you feel that there is no lawful reason for us to retain your Personal Information.
